Tatarstan government and Federal state unitary enterprise “Russian television and broadcasting network” sign Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of developing digital TV broadcasting

RT Cabinet and Federal state unitary enterprise “Russian television and broadcasting network” signed Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of developing digital TV broadcasting. The procedure took place in House of RT government.

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Director general of Federal state unitary enterprise “Russian television and broadcasting network” Aleksey Malinin put their signs in the document.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the ceremony.

“We have signed today a very important agreement on cooperation which will let us start large-scale construction of digital networks in Tatarstan, - Aleksey Malinin said. We thank President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Tatarstan government for support”.

By words of Aleksey Malinin for the present moment work on system design is finished.

“The end volume of financing will be defined in the process of design engineering, - Aleksey Malinin said. – I may say that it is planned to build 75 new objects besides 70 objects already existing in republic. These objects will provide broadcasting in small settlements throughout republic and total coverage”.

“Today’s agreement implies support from RT government, assistance of municipal units for creation of the most comfortable conditions for implementation of the project”, - Ildar Khalikov stressed.

RT Prime Minister noted likewise that President of Tatarstan set the task to realize the project within 1,5-2 years. Thus, we have to work hard.
