Rustam Minnikhanov hands in keys to new vehicles to Environmental Services of Tatarstan

On April 2, near the Saidashev State Big Concert Hall in Kazan, during a ceremony with participation of Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the republic Aleksandr Shadrikov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in keys to new vehicles to Environmental Services of Tatarstan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minnikhanov emphasized that much attention has been paid to the environmental issues in the country in recent years. “The habitat is next to godliness. To date, a powerful system of environmental supervision has been established in Tatarstan. Certainly, the whole system has been operating due to the latest technologies,” he said.

Ecologists received 16 pieces of equipment, including 12 off-road vehicles of Chevrolet Niva, 2 cars of Lada Priora , an UAZ offroader and a Buggi off-highway vehicle.

He noted that the ensuring environmental security requires mobility and the proper equipment. New cars will improve the efficiency of environmental supervision.
