On January 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Switzerland as a member of the official Russian delegation led by Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Oreshkin to take part in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

On January 19, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Igor Shunevich discussed cooperation in the field of crime prevention and maintenance of public security.
