Rustam Minnikhanov at a ceremony of handing in B.I Tikhomirov award: Today specialists are important as never before

On 26 December the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of handing in awards named after B.I. Tikhomirov to winners of six nominations held in Moscow.

In his welcoming speech the Rais of the republic said: ”Boris (Ivanovich) Tikhomirov is a person who is well-known not only in our republic. He did much for the industry of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation and the defense industry. I want to thank the Technodynamika Company (the award sponsor).”

“There are not so many design institutes which can work for the industrial construction. Today specialists are important as never before, taking into consideration new challenges the country is facing, and especially in the defense industry”, he said and congratulated the Tikhomirov award winners.

Rustam Minnikhanov also handed in the Order “For Merits to Tatarstan” to the Industrial Director in the complex of common arms, ammunitions and special chemistry of the Rostech Corporation Bekhan Ozdoev for his substantial contribution into the development and strengthening of the defense industry complex of the republic.
