Aleksey Pesoshin: It is important to continue systemic control over the standard condition of yards and sidewalks

On 11 January, speaking at a regular regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that it is important to continue systemic control over the standard condition of yards and sidewalks. 

He stated that weather conditions were inclement lately which caused some road accidents resulting in death. 

“I ask the Ministry of Transport together with heads (of regions and cities) to take measures for providing road safety paying special attention to inter-city highways. We had already closed traffic on M-7 because of weather conditions and I ask you to provide proper condition of federal highways,” he said. 

On top of that Aleksey Pesoshin gave an errand to ramp up control over removal of snow and ice in yards and sidewalks.
