On April 22, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Presidential Envoy of the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, President of Haier Corporation Liang Hayshan, Mayor of Naberezhney Chelny Nail Magdeev, representatives of regional ministers and departments took part in a solemn opening of the Haier plant for the production of refrigeration equipment  at the Master Kama industrial park in Naberezhnye Chelny.

On April 22, speaking at a press-conference on results of the Kazanorgsintez’s activities in 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that for further development and product expansion of Kazanorgsintez petrochemical enterprise some matters should be dealt with, first of all, providing it with investments and raw materials.

On April 21, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of the United Shipbuilding Corporation Aleksey Rakhmanov discussed issues related to cooperation between Tatarstan industrial enterprises and shipbuilding companies, members of the corporation.

On April 20, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President had a meeting with Slovenian delegation led by Slovenia Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Pocivalsek. 

Today in Moscow, at the board meeting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Tatarstan Parliament Speaker, Chairman of the Current Affairs Committee of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe Farid Mukhametshin was awarded a Badge of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation “For contribution to International Cooperation”.

On April 20, speaking at the Tatarstan – Thuringia economic forum in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the trade turnover between Tatarstan and Germany exceeded 1 billion euro in 2015.

On April 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a presidium session of Investment council of the Republic of Tatarstan. The session discussed some investment projects that were presented to investors who will take part in their implementation in the republic. The projects are meant to encourage investment activity.
