The number of elderly people and longevity are increasing in Tatarstan as well as elsewhere in the world. According to the forecasts,   ageing of population will be increasing, too.

On October 11, during his meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Turkmenistan Aleksandr Blokhin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov introduced new Authorized Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan Ruslan Kabirov. Prior to that, he held the position of Tatarstan First deputy minister of industry and trade.

On October 11, at the Chamber of Commerce and Trade in Ashgabat, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the opening of an exhibition of economic achievements of Turkmenistan. The exhibition is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan.
