Tatarstan President launches construction of residential complex “Sportivnaya Station” in Kazan

On August 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov launched construction of residential complex “Sportivnaya Station” in Kazan.

The first residential complex with a developed sports infrastructure will occupy the area of 63 hectares. The total amount of investments will make 1 bln dollars.

The first construction stage is planned to be completed in the second half of 2018, the whole project will be completed in 2024. By that time, 60 multi-apartment houses, three schools, nine kindergartens and sports facilities are to be constructed.

All houses will be built in accordance with comfort class standards. There will be a parking area, shops and offices.

Director General of Ak Bars Development Andrey Mochalov informed journalists that 17,000 people will live in the complex.
