On July 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 16th Federal Sabantui in Nizhny Novgorod. Upon arrival the president looked around the sites of “The city of masters”, “The wreath of friendship”, the exhibition of arts and crafts of Nizhny Novgorod and Tatarstan. The guests could also get familiar with lifestyle of Tatar villagers.

On July 16, during his working visit to Nizhny Novgorod, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Valery Shantsev took part in a solemn unveiling of the monument to Tatar singers, who were born in Nizhny Novgorod region Rashit Vagapov and Khaidar Bigichev.

On July 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of the laying of the first stone in the foundation of a new academic building of the Kazan Cooperative Institute (branch) of the Russian University of Cooperation.  

On July 15, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Council of the Central Union of Consumer Societies of Russia Dmitry Zubov discussed steps on further interaction in terms of consumer cooperation and other issues.

On July 13, during his working trip to Alekseevsky region (Tatarstan), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited 5th International youth educational forum “Selet”.

On July 13 in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 3d Regional open Olympiad of young geologists of Tatarstan in Almetievsk region.

On July 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of a tourist recreation area near Almetievsk city lake. With other honoured guests Rustam Minnikhanov walked around the fitness and workout areas, took part in the opening of “Strawberry fair” and visited the festival of colours. Head of the region Airat Khairullin told about the site improvement and lake cleaning.

On July 13, speaking at the Oil Summit in the village of Karabash, Bugulma region of Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that according to preliminary data in the first half of 2016 Tatarstan has produced 17.288 million tonnes of oil, which is 4.1 per cent more than in the previous year . 

On July 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has paid a working visit to Bugulma region of Tatarstan, which is hosting  a traditional oil summit at the Neptun recreation center in the village of Karabash.

Upon his arrival in the village of Karabash, Minnikhanov accompanied by Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov and other officials looked around information stands of some enterprises, including Tatneft Oil Company, Kazan Federal University, and others. They presented the advanced technologies used in the oil industry as well as research and development in terms of operation of wells, development of new deposits, including the extraction of super-viscous oil.
