Marat Akhmetov: We have to sow winter crops in tight soil

On August 27, at a video conference at the Tatarstan Government House held by President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov of the republic expressed his concern about the seeding of winter crops.

He informed that the harvesting campaign is nearly finished, but some farms are completely destroying the crops by not harvesting hundreds of hectares.

The minister promised to analyze the situation personally. Harvesting of the grain maize is showing good results. However, there is a lack of machinery in the republic.

Akhmetov recommended renting or buying harvesters saying that some expenses will be compensated.
