On August 13, at a traditional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov reported that 1160 thousand hectares or 78 per cent of area have been thrashed since the beginning of the harvesting.

On August 12, at the airfield at Kurkachi village in Vysokogorsky region within the framework of an aviation festivity “I Choose the Sky”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a meeting on development of general purpose aviation.

On August 10, at the 5th session of Coordination Council of Tatarstan mechanical engineering enterprises (Kazanskaya yarmarka exhibition center), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that competitiveness of plants and enterprises depends on their readiness and ability to respond to changes in the industry as well as effective adoption of new technologies.

On August 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was on a working trip in St. Petersburg to take part in a meeting of leaders of Russia and Turkey with Russian and Turkish businessmen.

On August 9, at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Rustam Garifullin said that the number of children who spend summer holidays in recreation camps has increased in the republic compared to other Russian regions.

On August 9, Head of the Department for ensuring regional use and quality of fuel in the Republic of Tatarstan Robert Gilyaziev reported that 789 samples were taken at petrol stations to monitor the quality of fuel. Results have shown positive dynamics and defective petrol was found only at private petrol stations.

On August 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov, and other officials took part in the settlement of a new 21-apartment house for participants of regional and federal housing programmes.
