On December 13, during his working visit to Atninsky region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Atninsky State Theatre named after Gabdulla Tukai and the opening of the Year of Theatre.

On December 11, a ceremonial reception on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian Federation was held at the Kazan Kremlin.

Speaking at the event, Minnikhanov noted that the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation contributed to the stabilization of the rapid social development of the country.

The Constitution laid the legal framework of the economic and political system, proclaimed the fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens, absorbed the best world experience, Minnikhanov went on to say.
