On December 11, a ceremonial reception on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian Federation was held at the Kazan Kremlin.

Speaking at the event, Minnikhanov noted that the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation contributed to the stabilization of the rapid social development of the country.

The Constitution laid the legal framework of the economic and political system, proclaimed the fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens, absorbed the best world experience, Minnikhanov went on to say.

The provisions that lay the foundations of federalism are especially important to entities of the Russian Federation and determine their status and powers, Minnikhanov pointed out.

Relying on the wide rights granted by the law, Tatarstan has achieved notable success in the development of the economy and the social sphere, preservation of the culture of all peoples, interethnic and interfaith harmony, and the development of civil society organizations.

All this makes the republic attractive for life and work, for tourism and investment, Tatarstan President noted.

We appreciate good-neighborly relations with all regions of our country, Minnikhanov emphasized. Our republic is grateful to our national leader, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, for his overall support of our initiatives and projects.

Minnikhanov expressed his deep appreciation to everyone who serves the interests of Russia and native Tatarstan, creates an economic basis for well-being of our citizens.
