On December 12, at their meeting in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Acting Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander Osipov discussed the exchange of experience in a number of relevant areas at the interregional level.
In particular, Osipov briefly told Minnikhanov about the socio-economic situation in the Trans-Baikal Territory. He stressed that the Trans-Baikal Territory ranks 70th in Russian ratings. At the same time, people from the territory have plans to attract investments to the region, and projects to create new jobs. One of the main tasks is to increase budget revenues.
Osipov noted that the experience of Tatarstan in attracting investments, increasing profitability, launching new production facilitiess would be very useful for the Trans-Baikal Territory.
In his turn, Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan, as one of the dynamically developing regions of Russia, is ready to share its gained experience and knowledge in various areas of the economy with other entities.
