State awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan handed over in the Kazan Kremlin

On December 12, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin handed over state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished Tatarstan citizens.

“I am honoured to hand over state awards of Russia and Tatarstan to you on this momentous day. Here we have workers of industrial and construction enterprises, educational area, medical community, cultural and art workers, staff of government and municipal institutions. I sincerely thank you for your dedicated work. You have achieved heights in your profession due to your hard work and talent,” Pesoshin said.

He emphasized the main indicators of the socio-economic development of the republic, with which Tatarstan is predicted to complete 2018.

He also reported on the main achievements of the republic in the current year.

The republic is traditionally one of the leading regions of Russia on key macroeconomic indicators, Prime Minister said.

A total of 48 state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan were handed over at the meeting.
