On May 19, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Association of Student Sports Clubs (ASSC) of Russia Elena Isinbayeva together with Minister of Sports of the republic Vladimir Leonov, Regional Minister of Education and Science Ilsur Khadiullin, Acting Rector of the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov discussed the issues of the implementation of a joint educational project of the ASSC and Tatarstan on internships for student sports managers and holding sports youth festivals in Kazan.

On May 12, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Aleksandr Bastrykin together with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and other officials visited the Kazan gymnasium 175 and looked around the premises where, on May 11, the tragedy occurred - 9 people were shot, including 7 schoolchildren, and over 20 others were injured.

On May 12, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Aleksandr Bastrykin arrived on a working visit in Kazan, and together with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov visited Children’s Regional Clinical Hospital, where there were schoolchildren injured during the attack on the gymnasium 175 in Kazan.

On May 12, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Aleksandr Bastrykin arrived in Kazan and was met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.

On May 7, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Board of the National Tourism Union Stanislav Tikhonov and the President of the Technology Sovereignty Export Association Andrey Bezrukov discussed issues of cooperation and interaction in a number of areas.

On May 6, at Kazan Pyramid compex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the final gala concert of the 21st open regional television Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk Youth Festival.

The President emphasized that this year 5.500 contestants from all over the republic took part in the festival.
