12.02.2022

Speaking at the weekly Saturday meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has said that spreading of the Omicron strain has resulted in a substantial growth of incidence rate in the republic.

He underlined that all limitation measures in the republic will be extended and “it is very important to follow sanitary-epidemiological requirements at work and continue monitoring of “morning filters” at schools. However the situation in the sphere of education is improving and all schools that were closed came back to normal work, he said.

Speaking about huge load experienced by the healthcare system and especially by policlinics, Minnikhanov said: “We have agreed that our policlinics work at weekends and I have also given an errand to the operational headquarters to think over how to separate the influx of patients in mornings. Besides not everyone is able to come to policlinic so we should reach everyone who needs help. We should not leave this category of people without attention”.

Addressing heads of regions and cities, Tatarstan President gave them an errand to continuously monitor the situation in policlinics and provide necessary support to medical workers.

The Minster of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the republic Ayrat Khayrullin informed that currently the Ministry has been developing a possibility of closing sick lists remotely without patients coming to the policlinic again. Minnikhanov said that this work should be done carefully. :”The regulations have been defined, so you should follow them. Nevertheless as there is a sick list, you should consult the patient somehow and to visit him if needed”.
