Today the participants of the RT Cabinet Presidium meeting chaired by Rustam Minnikhanov, the Head of the Government, approved the complex programme of the Republic of Tatarstan demographic development till 2010 and prospect of demographic development till 2030.

Today RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov met representatives of CJSC ING Bank (Eurasia) in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting took a familiarization character. CJSC ING Bank (Eurasia) was represented by General Director Aleksandr Pisaruk (he was appointed in June 2007).

Gross regional product in Tatarstan for January – March 2008 made up 305 billion rubles with the growth of 8% in comparison with the same period in 2007, said Minister of Economy, Marat Safiullin, speaking at traditional brifing at the House of Government.

During the traditional brifing at the House of Government  the administrator of the Pension Fund Department in the Republic of Tatarsatan Marsel Imamov talked to journalists about the system of voluntary pension savings stimulation established to increase citizens’ pension provisions.

Yokogawa Electric CIS has been selected as a general contractor to computerise the oil refining and petrochemical complex in Nizhnekamsk, said the Aide to the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Iskander Muflikhanov, reports the Cabinet’s press service.

The Prime Minister of Tatarstan has today held a presentation of the Tatarstan’s economic potential for the delegation from Azerbaijan that arrived in Kazan on Monday. The delegation is led by the Azerbaijani Prime Minister Arthur Tahir ogly Rasi-Zade.
