Tatarstan pays much attention to conversion to information society and development of information and communicative technologies. Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov reported about it today at opening of VI yearly international scientific and practical conference “Information and communicative technologies of global information society”. More than 450 participants take part in the conference that will last till September, 5. Head of Federal information technologies agency Vladimir Matukhin arrived in Kazan to take part in the event.

Today Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Head of Federal State Institution “Chief Management of State Examination” Sergey Osmanov.
Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Marat Khusnullin, General Director of “Tatneft” JSC Shafagat Takhautdinov, Head of the Department of Construction, Transport, Communications, Housing and Road Construction under RT Cabinet Ildar Sibgatullin took part in the meeting.

Head of Pension Fund Department of Russia in Tatarstan Marsel Imamov told today at briefing in RT Cabinet about innovations in pension payment for pensioners who used to work in power departments.

Tatarstan sportsmen won 3 Olympic Golden medals for Russian team in Peking. Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of Tatarstan Marat Bariev told about it today at briefing in RT Cabinet.

Today RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov hosted in Tatarstan Government House the participants of XVI scientific conference of Academy of Sciences of Islamic world “Science, technologies, innovations for stable development of Islamic world (rapprochement of politicians and scientists)” that is being held these days in Kazan.
