Forum “Tatarstan business partners.New possibilities of cooperation” was held in National Culture Center “Kazan” by Rustam Minnikhanov. RT Prime Minister pointed out that Tatarstan has experience in cooperation with republic state structures, administrations from Russian regions, CIS countries and Baltic States.

RT Prime Minister met with Mr. Shunichi Miyanaga, Senior Vice President of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to discuss preproject works (JSC “Ammonia”, Mendeleevsk).

Boris Pavlov took part in IX All-Russia conference of extended education “Staffing of innovative processes in Russian economy and education” and All-Russia Forum “Social partnership in continuing education”. Boris Pavlov noted that innovative way of development is connected with scaled investments in human capital. The Forum is organized by Kazan State Technological University, National Fund of Personnel Training, Russian Union of manufacturers and businessmen, Russian Association of business education, RT Ministry of education and science, RT Ministry of Economy, RT Ministry of industry and trade, RT Chamber of Commerce and Industry, regional associations of employers “RT Association of enterprises and businessmen”.

According to Iskander Muflikhanov, Aide to Prime Minister on foreign economic activity the agreement was signed by Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Prime Minister and Jiang Daming, the Governor of Shandong province. Tatarstan delegation was presented by Timur Akulov, State Advisor on International affairs under RT President, Director of Department for external relations under RT President, Marat Khusnullin, RT Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing, Marat Bariev, RT Minister of Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism, Ilsur Metshin, Kazan Mayor.

Eurasian Energy summit is being held in Shenzhen City (China). It’s the first large-scale event devoted to fuel-energy complex which reflects new realities and development of new energy markets in Russia, China and Kazakhstan. Such forums may help to strengthen partnership, establish new relations and announce about the situation in the market.

Also Ilshat Fardiev, General Director of “Tatenergo” JSC informed about the problems in energetics.

Tatarstan delegation headed by B.P.Pavlov, First Deputy Prime Minister participates in first international Forum of nanotechnologies which was opened in Moscow. The delegation is presented by Alexander Kogogin, RT Minister of Industry and Trade, Nail Gubaev, Deputy Minister of Economy, Askhat Gumerov, Vice-President of RT Academy of Sciences, German Dyakonov, Rector of Kazan State Technological University (Kazan Chemical-Technological Institute), Gennadiy Degtyarev, the President of Kazan State Technical University (Kazan Aircraft Institute).

Tariff Committee confirmed new prices for heat and power. Marina Fairushina, Head of RT Tariff Committee told that republic authorities confirm tariffs according to Federal Tariff Service. In 2009 electricity will cost 2,03-2,07 RUR per 1 Kwt/h. Republic Committee confirmed 2,04 RUR per 1 Kwt/h (2008-1,63 RUR per 1 Kwt/h). Heat power produced by heat stations will cost 384 RUR per 1 Gcal. Retail price for gas will make 2,3 RUR per cubic metre, after July, 1 – 2,58 RUR.

RT Prime Minister met with Mr. Ho Su Yeng, the President of “KP Chemical” (South Korea). They discussed realization of the construction project of the complex for production of polymers (polyethylene terephthalate-PET) in Alabuga special economic zone (Tatarstan).
