Gennady Emelyanov was appointed to a post by RT President Order dated 17.03.2009.
Rustam Minnikhanov stated that a road service always remained a priority branch for the republican economy and many tasks were set before the road workers.

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov said at a ceremony of signing the agreement with representatives of local self-government bodies that Kazan experience in holding vacancies fair may be used in other city districts and municipal regions. He also informed about visiting a fair of vacancies organized by RT Ministry of labour, employment and social care in Kazan Palace of culture “Khimikov”.

Rustam Minnikhanov informed at a session of Federal labour and employment service collegium that Tatarstan is considering the possibility to send applications to Russian government for additional financial support to retrain the unemployed. The collegium was devoted to the work of department in 2008 and discussion of tasks 2009.

RT Deputy Prime minister - Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov said at a briefing in RT Cabinet that according to the work of agricultural and industrial complex in Tatarstan the growth of meat production made 6%, milk production – 2% during the first two months of 2009. RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austrian republic to Russian Federation Mr. Martin Vukovich discussed possible joint projects in various economic spheres.The parties stated that currently level of relationship between Austria and Tatarstan as one of industrially developed regions in Russia is rather low.

Head of Tatarstan government required for a serious attitude towards implementation of the planned parameters in housing construction in 2009 at a meeting in RT Cabinet. 449 thousand m² of housing (22,5 % of annual plan) have been constructed in January and February. It is planned to have 1,55 mln. m² of housing commissioned by the end of 2009.

Currently, Rustam Minnikhanov is on business visit in Moscow taking part in extended session of Russian Ministry of transport. Participants are going to discuss the results of social and economic development of Russian transport complex in 2008, set the tasks for 2009 and medium-term perspective up to 2011.

The branch of JSC “TransCreditBank” is to be opened in Kazan. According to Ravil Muratov the bank holds a serious position in market.
First Vice-Premier expressed hope for possible implementation of joint projects in Tatarstan. He said briefly about social and economic situation in the republic stressing that a special attention is paid to petrochemistry and oil refining.

RF Deputy Minister of industry and energy Sergey Kudryashov will take part in the meeting held by Rustam Minnikhanov.
Within 2-days business trip across Tatarstan Sergey Kudryashov is going to see a number of “Tatneft” objects, get acquainted with a work of republican petrochemical enterprises (JSC “Nizhnekamskhefteshina”, a project of petrochemical and oil-refining plants in Nizhnekamsk).

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov said at a concluding collegium of RT Ministry of land and property relations that one of the main tasks of the ministry is formation of income part of the budget at the expense of efficient management of state property.
