On July, 8 First Deputy prime minister of Republic Tatarstan Boris Pavlov held meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Russian Federation Mr Reza Sadzhadi in the Embassy of Iran Republic in Russian Federation (Moscow). They discussed perspectives of cooperation among state structures, scientific and business communities of Iran and Tatarstan in the sphere of joint development of nanotechnologies on long-term partner basis.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and owner of Simem Company (Italy) Mr Federico Furlani discussed perspectives of mutually beneficial cooperation in the House of RT government. Simem Company deals with development and production of equipment for water cleaning and sewage processing and realization of programs of drinking water processing. Currently the company is functioning in 65 countries including USA, Canada, India (strategic partner of Indian government), and China (participant of national ecological program on preparation for Olympic Games in Peking).

RT First Deputy Minister of land and property relations Airat Nurutdinov informed at a traditional briefing in the RT Cabinet that about 940 mln. 760 thousand RUR entered the budget of Republic Tatarstan in a form of dividends from Tatarstan enterprises - joint-stock companies with state share property.

Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with representatives of Turkish company Lotus Energji in the RT Cabinet on issues of potential mutually beneficial projects. Tatarstan Prime Minister said that Tatarstan and Lotus Energji may in fact realize many interesting projects. In particular, the experience of Lotus Energji in creating multifunctional petrol station is of great interest for Tatarstan.

Boris Pavlov held session of interdepartmental working group on development of Tatarstan nanoindustry. Participants discussed the results of realization of complex project “Development of nanoindustry of Republic Tatarstan” for the first half-year 2009 and defined tasks for the second half-year.

On July, 1 Rustam Minnikhanov looked over a village of Universiade in Belgrad - the capital of World summer student games 2009. He was accompanied by Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism of Republic Tatarstan Marat Bariev, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, President of Russian sport student union Oleg Matytsin and others.

Rustam Minnikhanov and George Killian discussed the process of preparation for forthcoming summer Universiade-2013 in Kazan. Besides, they exchanged opinions concerning organization of summer Universiade-2009. Its solemn opening will be held today’s evening at one of the main stadiums of Belgrad. Tatarstan Prime Minister noted that Russian team is getting ready for victory.

Rustam Minnikhanov is currently in Serbia – the city of Belgrad to take part in solemn ceremony of opening World summer student games 2009. Head of RT government has already held meting with President of FISU George Killian. He also plans to meet with volunteers from Tatarstan who will be attracted in Universiade in 13 sectors (reception of guests and sportsmen, work in press centre, organization of meals in Universiade village, e.t.c.).

Inter-departmental meeting on issues of implementing RT nature-protective legislation in realizing sewage dumping in Tatarstan rivers is being held in Kazan. RT Prime Minister R.N.Minnikhanov and Volga inter-regional nature-protective prosecutor V.A.Soldatova take part in meeting.
