Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with Head of permanent working group on security of Council under President of Russia on development of physical culture and sport, sport of top achievements on issues of preparation and holding XXII Olympic winter games, General of the Army Oleg Syromolotov. They discussed issues of ensuring the security of objects which are being constructed for World summer student games (Universiade-2013).

Rustam Minnikhanov said this during opening of international summit of Islamic business and finances in Kazan that under conditions of world financial crisis Islamic principles of holding business attract businessmen more and more and cooperation with Islamic banking has immense potential. Opening ceremony started from reading Holy Koran. Representatives from 20 countries all over the world have gathered at forum. Such an event was held for the first time. It was organized by Islamic financial consulting “Linova” (Tatarstan), Islamic institute of research and education under Islamic bank of development (Saudi Arabia), Kuala Lumpur business school (Malaysia) and other organizations.

Plenary session of forum for small and medium-size entrepreneurship "Import substitution - new course of small and medium-size entrepreneurship development in Russia" was held in the RT Cabinet. President of All-Russian public organization of small and medium-size entrepreneurship "OPORA ROSSII" Sergey Borisov said that creation of conditions for development of small and medium-size entrepreneurship, change of certification terms, commercialization of scientific development – here are some components for import substitution and competitive ability of Russian goods.

On June, 21 RT First Deputy Prime Minister, President of Tatarstan field hockey federation Boris Pavlov took part in a solemn ceremony of the first Cup “Challenge 2” in field hockey. The tournament started in the Centre of field hockey in Kazan. Document was signed in the course of meeting on issues of development of Kazan transport infrastructure during the process of preparing for the ХХVII World summer student games (Universiade) in 2013. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the meeting. By his words Universiade 2013 may exceed winter Olympic Games - 2014in Sochi. He also reminded that student competitions in Tatarstan will be held a year before holding Olympic Games in Sochi. “We have to set an example and demonstrate our possibilities”, - Mintimer Shaimiev said.

The representatives of RT Ministry of ecology and nature resources and the City Mayor’s office answered journalist’s questions concerning development of Kazan infrastructure in a bank zone of the Kazanka river.
