International broadcasting centre and international press centre of summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan will be located in Ice Sports Palace

International broadcasting centre and international press centre of summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan will be located in an Ice Sports Palace on Moskovskaya Street. Such a decision has been made based on results of visiting several Universiade sports objects by members of working group on issues of preparation for information coverage of world summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.

We remind that members of working group stayed in Kazan for two days (March, 16-17). They inspected sport buildings, IT park, and assessed a level of readiness for holding world summer sport student games 2013 regarding information coverage and organization of TV broadcasting.

At the meeting with RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov director general of ANO “Sport broadcasting”, director general of “Rosmediacom” Vasily Kiknadze informed that preparation for Universiade 2013 in Kazan is on a full scale. He suggested jointly to define requirements for sport objects where broadcasting of competitions would be organized.

It is planned to specify items, areas and amount of financing for preparing information coverage of Universiade 2013 connected to TV broadcasting by April,30.

Republican press and mass communications agency is appointed responsible for organization of International Press Center.

For providing Internet broadcasting of XXVII summer sport student games 2013 it is meant to create multimedia web-resource (it will be jointly developed by ANO “Sport broadcasting”, RIA “News”, ANO “Executive Directorate of XXVII world summer universiade 2013 in Kazan” and RT Centre of information technologies).

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov also suggested to consider the issue of training technical staff supposed to work on TV broadcasting, video transmission and equipment maintenance.
