Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov opens First World Fire-Fighting and Rescue Sport Junior Championship in Kazan

First World Fire-Fighting and Rescue Sport Junior Championship was started at stadium “Trudovye reservy” in Kazan. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening ceremony.

Mobile brigades of rescuers demonstrated rendering aid to the injured in road accidents and fire extinguishing. The event ended with enormous salute and solemn forming-up of participating teams. Head of republic addressed participants and fans with welcoming speech.

“This year is very difficult for fire service. Today your colleagues are serving at combat posts in places of emergency situations. Before the opening ceremony we examined the exhibition of modern fire machinery and now we are going to see skills of professionals. It is your task to cope with fire extinguishing and make decisions immediately. I thank firemen and rescuers for controlling the situation in such uneasy time”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
