Fabruary,11. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Deputy Minister of economic development of Russia Oleg Fomichev.The event was held within the limits of meeting on issues of realizing innovative policy in regions – participants of Russian Association of innovative regions. RT Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov and Aide to RT President Anatoli Krasnov also attended the meeting.At the meeting with RT President Oleg Fomichev told about activity of Association. Rustam Minnikhanov in his turn emphasized that Tatarstan has always positioned itself as an innovative region and republican leadership is ready to support initiatives of the association.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Russian Federation Petr Kolář today.“We have been cooperating with Tatarstan fruitfully and successfully for a long time. Our entrepreneurs know that your republic has an enormous potential,” Ambassador of Czechia Petr Kolář said at the meeting with journalists.Talking about the projects that are being realized, Petr Kolář informed that Czech entrepreneurs were building a trade center in Kazan. There is also a joint project of constructing an emergency hospital in Tatarstan. Czech buses will be supplied for the Universiade to the capital.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting on issues of construction and commissioning of housing including the program of State housing fund under RT President, housing construction for veterans of GPW and realization of RF Law dated 21.07.2007 №185-ФЗ “On Fund of assistance to reformation of housing and communal services” in RT. RT Prime Minister Ildra Khalikov took part in work of the session.RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin noted that financial support of Federal fund for republican program of major repairs in 2011 was defined at the amount of 272,5 mln. roubles. Total volume of funds makes 4,6 bln. roubles.

February,10. Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov held meeting “On course of realizing the plan of transfer to rendering state, municipal and socially significant services in electronic format in RT”.Opening the event, Head of Government noted that work on rendering state and municipal services in electronic format in Tatarstan has been already carried out before. But special feature of work in 2011is that core ministries are responsible for organization of this process. Prime Minister noted that rendering state and municipal services in electronic format simplifies the process of receiving these services by citizens and business. It also brings serious economic effect.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of sport, tourism and youth policy Vitali Mutko reported Prime Minister of Russia about course of preparation for World summer Universiade 2013. The meeting was held in Strelna town of Leningrad oblast. Head of RF Government contacted sport objects in Kazan.Prime Minister reminded that Kazan won the right to host Universiade in 2008, and works on constructing objects and infrastructure for competitions started in 2009. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov reported that preparation for Universiade go at full drive. 25 objects out of 30 are finished and already functioning.

Major changes will happen in Tatarstan archive-keeping in 2011. This was announced by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at board session of Chief archival dept. under RT Cabinet.Head of Chief archival dept. under RT Cabinet Danil Ibragimov reported on results of work of Tatarstan archival institutions in 2010 and key tasks for 2011. Head of Department defined main problems in activity of archival institutions. By his words, the most urgent are consolidation of material and technical resources and ensuring safety of the documents. Workload of storages of RT National archive makes more than 100 %. Central state archive of audio-visual documents of Republic and State press archive do not have separate buildings. There is a high percentage of out-of-date computer equipment in municipal archives. State and municipal archives are in need of additional personnel in connection with continuous liquidation of organizations and increase of citizens’ addresses.

Five criminal cases were opened upon facts of negligent attitude of Managing companies and Homeowners Associations towards cleaning roofs from snow that resulted in falls of roofs. Such information has been given by RT Prosecutor Kafil Amirov at session of Commission for prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and fire safety in RT.The event was held in Kazan under chairmanship of First Vice-premier Ravil Muratov. Kafil Amirov criticized the attitude of managing companies towards major repairs of houses and cleaning roofs from snow.

February,8. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in work of final board session of Russian Federal consumer rights protection and human health control service. The event was held in National cultural centre “Kazan”. Head of RT government put much emphasis on children and their safeguarding while staying in educational institutions. In his opinion, this issue should become more urgent this year.
“We have positive experience in organizing nutrition for children at schools and kindergartens. Kazan has well recommended itself in realization of project on organization of school students’ nutrition and we have to take it as a basis”, - Ildar Khalikov said.

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan and board members of the RT Public Chamber discussed at the meeting on February 8, a wide range of socially important issues - perspectives of entrepreneurship development and support of nonprofit organizations, the growth rates of housing and public utility services, as well as the work of schools, kindergartens and dairy kitchens in Tatarstan.The meeting was held in the RT Cabinet of Ministers.Due to Ilgiz Khairullin, the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, the conversation was very useful and constructive. All the issues raised at today's meeting are very important. "The issue of supporting nonprofit organizations in the new tax system is very important. If they have no changes, they will stop working. We cannot build civil society, without NGOs, "- the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan said.
