Kazan was chosen to host I All-Russia festival of science

VII republican contest “50 best innovative ideas for Tatarstan Republic” started on April, 1 in Tatarstan Republic. Director of RT Investment venture fund Ainur Aideldinov informed about it at briefing in House of RT government.

The briefing was traditionally held in format of video conference with all municipal regions of republic and broadcasted in Internet.

Ainur Aideldinov told about some novelties implemented in 2011. So, in three nominations - “Perspective”, “Innovations in education”, “The best innovation of year”, the number of winners increased to 10. Besides, new nomination is introduced in 2011 - “Projects of Association of innovative regions of Russia” (10 awards). Projects of the following regions - members of the Association will be accepted for this nomination – Novosibirsk, Tomsk regions, The Republic of Mordovia, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Irkutsk and Kaluga regions.

The contest “50 best innovative ideas for Tatarstan Republic” is held in three stages.

By words of Ainur Aideldinov holding such events is a unique experience of Tatarstan. He informed that IVF had become a member of USA Association of venture capital.

Director of IVF reminded that VI Kazan venture fair would be held on April, 22 in Kazan.

Deputy Minister of education and science Andrei Pominov informed that a plenary session of I All-Russia festival of science will be held at the same time with plenary session of Kazan venture fair.
All-Russia festival of science is held in Russia for the first time and Kazan became one of three cities (besides Tomsk and Novosibirsk) to host events within the frameworks of festival.

Andrei Pominov reminded that I All-Russia festival of science started on February,8 in Moscow with participation of RF President Dmitri Medvedev (Polytechnic museum, Moscow).
