CEO of “Kesko” Company expressed interest towards cooperation with Tatarstan enterprises of oil-gas-chemical complex. Prospects of cooperation and stages of further work have been discussed by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Evgeni Bidilo, Director General of OOO “Kesko” ( ATEK group of companies). The meeting was held in House of RT Government. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that development of enterprises of oil-gas-chemical complex is a very urgent issue for Tatarstan. He reminded that cooperation between OOO “Kesko” and JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” has some marked results.

Tatarstan and Bashkortostan will work together on development of two-way transport communication between republics. This has been announced today by heads of two republics- Rustam Minnikhanov and Rustem Khamitov on finishing official meeting in Ufa.Rustam Minnikhanov informed that currently the project of constructing motorway “Shali-Bavly” - participant of transport corridor “Europe-Western China” is being realized in Tatarstan.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov is today in Bashkortostan with working visit. Official delegation of Tatarstan consists of heads of ministries, representatives of culture and business. Head of Tatarstan is accompanied by President of Bashkortostan Republic Rustem Khamitov. The first point of working trip was sports and fitness complex “Biathlon”. The first meeting of Media club has been held in Authorized representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russian Federation. About 60 journalists, who are Tatarstaners by origin and cooperate with republic because of their activity, attended the event.The reason of creating such public organization was support of public initiatives connected with intention to make overall contribution to development of economy and investments, national culture and language. The club unites more than 100 representatives of mass media – editors, journalists and television anchormen.Heads of Republican agency for press and mass communications, representatives of federal and Moscow mass media, TV and radio broadcasting company “Novy Vek” took part in the first meeting. The space bridge with Tatarstan journalists was organized in the studio of IA “Tatar-inform”.

In current year 43 thousand 615 cases on collecting alimonies were under execution at Department of Federal Bailiff Service on RT. Such information was announced at briefing in RT Cabinet by the Head of Department of Federal Bailiff Service on RT – chief bailiff of republic Khamit Sharipov.Measures of criminal-legal character in accordance with clause # 157 of RF Criminal Code are being taken in relation to debtors who maliciously avoid payment of alimonies.

December 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Tatarstan Investment and Venture Foundation.The meeting was held at the Pyramid Convention Complex. Ainur Aideldinov, the Foundation Director, reported on the results of the republican competition “50 best innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan” and the selection under the program of innovative projects Idea 1000.

A republican meeting on housing construction and putting into operation has today been held, chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.According to Tatarstanstat, 1,811 thousand square meters of housing was as of December 16 put into operation, 90 percent of the plan.“There is no doubt we will put into operation this amount,” Tatarstan construction, architecture and housing minister Irek Faizullin said. The plan for the rest of December is 2,020 thousand square metres, he added, each building is being supervised by the ministry.Tatarstan President lashed out on the contractors proposing to put off the unfinished buildings until 2011, to improve their quality.

Memorandum of intentions by results of visit of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov to Novosibirsk oblast was signed in Novosibirsk. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of Novosibirsk oblast Vasily Yurchenko put signatures in the document.According to the document text, on December, 15-16, 2010 delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov stayed in Novosibirsk oblast by invitation of the Governor Vasily Yurchenko. In the course of meeting they discussed issues of mutual interest in the sphere of economy, industry, science, education, innovative cooperation and culture.

A Tatarstan delegation led by President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Novosibirsk late on December 15. It is expected that Rustam Minnikhanov will visit Chkalov Novosibirsk Aviation Industrial Association, the technopark of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok and Boreskov Institute of Catalysis. Besides, the delegation is to visit the Exhibition Centre of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences where they will take a tour of the innovation exposition and meet with activists of Novosibirsk Oblast-based Tatar community organizations.
