Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working trip in Gdansk (Poland). Director of Department for external relations- Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov, Chief of RT investment development agency Linar Yakupov, Director-general of ZAO “Innovative production technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko are on Tatarstan delegation.

Increase of energy efficiency of production is the guarantee of competitiveness of Tatarstan enterprises in the context of forthcoming entry of Russia in World trade organization. Such statement was made by Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov at an extended session of RT Cabinet "On course of implementing long-term target program "Energy saving and raising energy efficiency in RT for 2010-2015 years and perspective until year 2020".

On December 7 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of Austria Heinz Fisher within the framework of working visit to Austrian Republic.The meeting with Heinz Fisher was held in official residence of the Austrian President – Hofburg. The parties agreed on visit of official delegation of Tyrol state to Tatarstan Republic in June 2012.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited hydropower plant “Freudenau” in Vienna in the context of his working visit to Austria. It is one of the largest hydropower plants in the country and the first large hydropower station in the world built within the precincts of the city.

Tatarstan Premier Ildar Khalikov has met today with creator of «International medical school» project Victor Grogorovich and TV Presenter, chief of programs JSC "Pervy kanal", doctor of medical sciences Elena Malysheva. The meeting was dedicated to realization of an international project «International medical school» in Tatarstan.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has reviewed the presentation of Swarco AG company in Innsbruck in the context of his working visit to Austria. The project of intelligence transport system for Kazan was presented to the Head of Republic. The intelligence traffic control system is to be implemented in Kazan during Universiade-2013. Swarco AG is going to demonstrate the first cluster in February 2012.
