Rais of Tatarstan gets acquainted with the progress of harvesting work in Kukmor region

On 6 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Food and Agriculture Marat Zybbarov and the Head of Kukmor region Sergey Dimitriev came on a working trip to the region where he got acquainted with the progress of harvesting work.

On a field of the Ural Agribusiness Company he had a meeting with machine operators engaged in harvesting work, as well as with heads of farms, investors and regional activists, where the head of the region reported that the average yield is about 5- centners per hectare and the region is the first in the republic in milk production.

In his turn the Minister of Agriculture of the republic said that the region needs to step up work on developing private farms.

Rustam Minnikhanov stated that Kukmor region is an example for those others by many indicators and, speaking to heads of settlements, he emphasized that despite all current difficulties all state programmes in the republic will keep working.
