Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of a new building of Kukmor comprehensive school №3

On 6 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening a new building of Kukmor comprehensive school №3 which will house 375 primary school children.

Speaking at the ceremony, he stated that the school has all facilities for full education and development of children and added: “I congratulate you. The new building for the school was necessary, as many children study here and in summer they organize school camps for kids here.”

The Head of Kukmor region Sergey Dinmitriev thanked the leadership of the republic for huge work done for the development of educational infrastructure. Thus 110 comprehensive education facilities have been built in the republic since 2010 thus creating more than 71 thousand new places.

Later the same day the Rais of the republic took part in the Tatarstan charity event “Help get ready for school”  which is held from 2007 and is aimed at supporting families which need additional help when getting a child ready for school. Children are given school bags with the complete set of necessary stationery. Today 20 first grade kids got these gifts and 362 more kids from 1-11 grades will receive the sets by the beginning of the school year.

Rustam Minnikhanov also visited the local history museum opened in 1995 and which underwent repairs and restoration last year, where he was shown expositions dedicated to the establishment of the region, its enterprises and the family tree of the Utyamyshevs and Chinguiz Aytmatov.
