On December 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the session of Board of Trustees of Kazan Federal University, where the rector of the University  Ilshat Gafurov made a report on outcomes of the activity. So,  three dormitories in the city centre were repaired, the new building of Chemistry Institute of Kazan Federal University was opened, the laboratory building of Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies was built and commissioned.  Ilshat Gafurov also reported that currently, 702 students including 313 foreigners are specializing in medicine. 

Gafurov added that since January 1, 2016 the university clinic to be founded by integration of Regional clinical hospital № 2,  Kazan municipal hospital of Emergency medical services №2 and Kazan municipal out-patient polyclinic  № 2 will start working under Kazan Federal University. 
Tatarstan Minister of Health Adel Vafin noted that the university clinic will meet world requirements and allow students to participate in scientific research. 

On December 2,  during his visit to major medical facilities of Kazan Federal University, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov looked around Neurology department of Regional clinical hospital № 2, where the genomic centre was shown to him. Then he inspected therapeutics department of Kazan municipal hospital of Emergency medical services №2 where the capital repair is under way and  new equipment  is expected to be delivered. Later on the same day,  Minnikhanov  visited Kazan municipal hospital of Emergency medical services №2 which also needs to be repaired. The President outlined that it is essential to preserve the original appearance of the building with certain requirements to medical institutions to be complied. 

On December 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the progress of construction of social and housing facilities in Innopolis.

On December 19, speaking at a meeting at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has forbidden officials to receive and give gifts.

On December 18, speaking at a traditional ceremony of summing up results of motorsports season 2015 in the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We need to keep on supporting motorsports in the republic.” 

On December 19, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov handed over awards to winners of the 11th regional contest for the Government quality awards 2015 that was established in accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic in April 2003.

On December 18, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov held a session of the Presidential Council for the Regional festival movement  “Sozvezdie- Yoldyzlyk” at the Government House.

On December 18, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the order For Services to Republic of Tatarstan to Honoured Artist of Russia Nailya Garaeva “for many years of creative activity and great contribution to the development of Tatar theatre arts.”

On December 17, at a solemn event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and 20th anniversary of Tatarstan Ministry of Emergency Situations in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the Ministry of Emergency Situations is an effective and powerful structure that is able to counteract any threats.

On December 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Arsk municipal region, Tatarstan, to take part in a solemn opening of new houses, the reconstructed central regional hospital and children’s art school.
