On the 8th of March Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated women on the International women’s day.

“Dear women! I congratulate you on International women’s day of the 8th of March! This holiday has become traditional in the life of our multi-ethnic people. It is the celebration of love, beauty and maternity. Since our childhood this holiday has been filled with warmth and light. When we are young we celebrate this holiday as mother’s and grandmother’s day. When we become older it is the holiday of our beloved wives and friends, daughters and granddaughters. A lot of famous philosophers, poets, composers, artists and scientists declared their love for women. The International women’s day unites us regardless of nationality, religion and position in the society. It praises human values, respect to a woman, and the meaning of maternity and traditional family values.

On March 4, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Cognitive Technologies Group Olga Uskova discussed the progress of the project implementation on establishing the Argopolis complex for the development of unmanned robotized agricultural machinery at the Innopolis Special Economic Zone. 

On March 4, at the Saidashev State Great Concert Hall in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of handing in awards to winners of the regional contest “Woman of the Year. Man of the Year: Female View”.

On March 4, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of InfoWatch Group of Companies Natalya Kasperskaya discussed further steps to develop bilateral cooperation between Tatarstan and the InfoWatch Group of Companies. In particular, they talked about details to implement a project for the opening of the InfoWatch Development Center in Innopolis. 

On March 3, on the threshold of the International Women's Day, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov visited the Prosto Moloko dairy factory and met with its female employees. 

On March 4, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov and Director General of Gazprom Gazomotornoe Toplivo Mikhail Likhachev told journalists that Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers and Gazprom Gazomotornoe Toplivo  signed an agreement on the implementation of incentive programmes to develop natural gas motor fuel market.

On March 4, at his meeting with Sichuan Province representatives,  Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Republic of Tatarstan, as one of Russian regions, is interested in developing relations with the People’s Republic of China and its provinces. 

On March 3, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chairman of the Global Advisory Company (Qatar) Mr. Abdulhadi Al-Hajri.

On March 3, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a board session of OAO “Tatspirtprom”. Participants of the session discussed the plan of work in the sphere of sales of products in 2016 and activity on reducing costs for energy resources.

On March 2, at a session of the Tatarstan interdepartmental commission for ecological safety, nature use and sanitary-epidemiological wellbeing and the Department for wildlife protection and management, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov said that favourable conditions should be provided for responsible fishermen and hunters in the republic.
