Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of Austrian Federal Council Josef Saller

On May 12, at his meeting with President of Austrian Federal Council Josef Saller in Vienna, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Austria has always maintained good relations with Russia and its regions, including Tatarstan.

According to Josef Saller, cooperation in the sphere of culture and tourism is quite promising. He reminded that 2017 would be the bilateral Year of tourism in Russia and Austria.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for the opportunity to meet and discuss topical issues, and to visit the Austrian Parliament. He also noted an important role of the Parliament in the development of any country.

The meeting discussed issues of further cooperation.

Josef Saller informed Rustam Minnikhanov about his upcoming visit to Tatarstan on the Austrian delegation.
