On September 29, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin held a meeting of the Presidium of the regional Cabinet of Ministers which considered the progress made in executing the state programme "Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015-2020" in the first half of 2017.

On September 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the opening ceremony of the 14th World Wushu Championships at the Gymnastics Center in Kazan. The milestone event, which attracts 900 fighters from 64 countries, is being held in Russia for the first time. The best sportsmen from Russia, Iran, China and many other countries will be competing at the championships on September 28 – October 3.  

On September 28, during his visit to the Kazan Tatelektromontazh Enterprise, Tatarstan President Rustam together with Director General of the enterprise Dmitry Soluyanov and other officials inspected the panel equipment department, got acquainted with samples of products. The guests were told about the history of the enterprise, which turned 60 years old, about its formation and development.

On September 28, at his meeting with representatives of the Union of Composers of Tatarstan and the N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the preservation of the national musical culture is very important to the republic.

On September 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture,  Housing and Utilities of the republic Aleksey Frolov inspected the renovated building of the regional Union of Composers.

On September 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a board session of Tatneft Oil Company, PJSC in Kazan. Results of the budget execution for eight months of 2017 were considered and budgets for October and the fourth quarter of the current year were approved at the session.

On September 28, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin held a regular meeting of the commission to review applications to conclude an agreement for localization of projects in the territory of advanced economic development in Naberezhye Chelny.

On September 27, at their meeting at the Presidential Residence in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Prosecutor General of Russia Yury Chaika discussed further interaction between the regional leadership and prosecution agencies in terms of strengthening the rule of law in the republic.

On September 27, the President of LUKOIL PJSC Vagit Alekperov spoke before students of Kazan Federal University. State Counsellor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and Vagit Alekperov accompanied by heads of the biggest Russian oil producing companies, public figures and politicians arrived at the university after the ceremony of summarizing the results of the 8th Contest of social and cultural projects of LUKOIL PJSC in the Republic of Tatarstan that was held at Piramida complex.
