Rosatom to become a strategic partner of WorldSkills Kazan-2019

On May 25, on the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom Alexey Likhachev and Director General of the Union “Young professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) Robert Urazov signed a tripartite agreement of intent.

The Rosatom intends to cooperate with the organizing committee on preparation and holding of Worldskills Championship Kazan - 2019, as well as with an international non-profit movement WorldSkills International (WSI) - the Union “Young professionals” (WorldSkills Russia).

Then, Tatarstan President attended the ceremony of the signing of  a Memorandum of Understanding as part of the implementation of the project on establishment of the Russian - Uzbek production facilities of medical robot-simulators in the region of Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

As part of SPIEF-2018, Minnikhanov had a meeting with President and CEO of YIT Corporation Kari Kauniskangas, at which the current projects being implemented in Tatarstan by YIT, as well as prospects for cooperation in other areas, in particular, in the field of road construction were discussed.
