On September 13, State Counsellor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiev took part in the elections of the President of Tatarstan and people’s deputies of representative bodies of municipalities.

On September 4, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Minister of Emergency Situations of Russia Yevgeny Zinichev, who is on a working visit in Kazan, discussed issues of the current activities of the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, ensuring the safety of citizens and the territory.

On September 3, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanoм and Head of the Federal Archive Agency Andrey Artizov, who is in Kazan to take part in the All-Russian Council on Archival Affairs to be held from September 3 to 5 via videoconferencing at the Kazan City Hall, discussed issues of further development of relations with the Agency in terms of the preservation of valuable documents, digitization of archival documents and other matters.
