Rustam Minnikhanov visits the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant

On March 4, during his working visit to Buryatia, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant.

Minnikhanov together with Managing Director of Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant Leonid Belykh and Head of Buryatia Aleksey Tsydenov looked around the production facilities of the enterprise.

Tatarstan President was informed about the modernization of technical facilities at the assembly and stamping plant.

As part of the overhaul, new technologies were mastered here in the field of pressure treatment, the introduction of non-refillable technologies for the manufacture of sheet parts and a decrease in the labor intensity of production.

New technologies in the areas of pressure processing, the introduction of seamless technologies for sheet parts and the reduction of labour-intensive production were introduced under the major overhaul.

At the aggregate assembly plant, Tatarstan President got acquainted with the manufacture of the Mi-8/17 helicopters, the light multipurpose Ka-226T and the new model Mi-171A3. Minnikhanov looked around the final assembly and paint shops.

Minnikhanov also visited a new logistics centre, which is scheduled to be launched in the near future.

After the visit of the plant, Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Board of Directors of Russian Helicopters Company chaired Anatoly Serdyukov, where they summed up the financial results for 2020 and discussed the implementation of investment projects at the holding enterprises.
