On March 12 during his working trip to Canada, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov visited Montreal Technopark.

On March 12, at the request of Mustafa Dzhemilev, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev flew to Moscow  to discuss the situation in the Crimea.

On March 11 during his working trip to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a special session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Crimea.
