On October 6, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met delegation of the Cisco Company. Global head of strategy and business development for industrial solutions of Cisco Matthew Smith, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and other officials took part in the meeting.

On October 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Committee on Culture, Science, Education and National Issues Razil Vallev, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, Chairman of Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov attended the Tatarstan first Center of National Education in Kazan.

On October 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on projects of construction and reconstruction of objects in the centre of Kazan. Chief architect of Kazan Tatyana Prokofieva presented the projects, - reconstruction of low storey houses in Mardzhani street, the International educational centre in Fedoseevskaya street, the hotel complex in Universitetskaya street, the administrative building in Karl Marx street, and others.

On October 6, speaking at a video conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities Services of the republic Irek Faizullin reported on the preparation and commissioning of heating systems at houses and social facilities in Tatarstan.

On October 5, during the final day of their working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn reception on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty the King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah ibn Abdilazīz on the occasion of Eid al-Adha holiday.
