On December 7, at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the 16th International Exhibition “Mechanical engineering. Metalworking. Kazan” and the 11th Specialized Exhibition “TechnoWelding”. 

On December 6, at their working meeting in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev discussed social and economic development of the republic.

On December 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, 260 businessmen from Tatarstan, representatives of regional authorities, and other officials took part in the 3d extended session of the Presidential Council for entrepreneurship at Korston hotel in Kazan.

On December 6, at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Head of Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare in Tatarstan Marina Patyashina reported that 26 mln and 797 thousand roubles of penalties were imposed for low-quality food products in the republic. The work of 46 retail facilities was suspended, and three licenses were terminated.

On December 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Kornily, Metropolitan of Moscow and all Russia Kornily, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, representatives of Kazan-Vyatka eparchy of Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church and other traditional religious confessions attended the ceremony of unveiling the monument to metropolitan of Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church Andrian in Kazan.

On December 6, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Head of the Federal Fishery Agency Vasiliy Sokolov and President of the Union of Sturgeon Breeders Alexander Novikov discussed issues related to development of fishery and increase of fish production in the republic. 

On December 6, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and businessmen from the Federal Republic of Germany discussed development of relations in the sphere of engineering, and localization of production of some German companies in Tatarstan.
