Petrochemical complex of Tatarstan boosted production and brought revenue to 954 billion roubles in 2016

On January 23, speaking at a board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Government House of the republic, Director General of the holding Rafinat Yarullin said that base petrochemical enterprises of the republic increased production output by 4.4 per cent in 2016.

Yarullin explained that these indicators were achieved mainly due to high results of Tatneft oil company and new Ammoniy mineral fertilizer factory. Besides, Nizhnekamskneftekhim and Kazanorgsintez chemical companies also increased their production output and revenue. Nefis Cosmetics Company and Solid Steel Cord Tire Factory are among the leaders in terms of rate of growth.

Contributions to the regional consolidated budget amounted to about 51 billion roubles, and remained at the last year's level. Due to boosted profits Tatneft oil company, Nafis Cosmetics company, Nizhnekamsktekhuglerod chemical company increased their payments.

Proposals on cooperation with Tatarstan Agency for Technological Development, Turkish company ETI MADEN I.G.M. (supplier of boron compounds), Kama Cable Plant, Yekaterinburg company "3A Engineering" (manufacturer of filters for industrial wastewater treatment systems) were made at the meeting.
