On February 4, speaking at a video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Government House of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that as of February 3, 2017, as many as 339,500 square meters of housing or 14.1 per cent of the plan have been commissioned in Tatarstan.

On February 3, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a joint session of Tatarstan Ministry of emergency situations and Ministry for civil defense and emergency situations. The session was dedicated to results of activity of civil defense and territorial subsystem of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations for 2016 and tasks for 2017.
