On May 8, in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the 72nd anniversary of Victory in World War II.

On May 7, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin accompanied by Head of Yutazinsky region of the republic Rustem Nuriev and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Talgat Tagirzyanov inspected sowing campaign in Yutazinsky region.

On May 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the course of spring sowing campaign and visited agricultural enterprises in Bugulminsky, Leninogorsky and Cheremshansky regions. The president was accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov.

On May 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Prime Minister of the republic Alexey Pesoshin, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin, Minister of Construction and Roads Lenar Safin, and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected streets and roads that will be used during Confederations Cup 2017. The matches will be held at Kazan-Arena stadium on June 18-28, 2017.

On May 6, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, CEO of Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai, CEO of Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions Dawood Al Shezawi and Director General of Diamond Developers Faris Saeed discussed cooperation in the field of organization of exhibition and trade fair activities and joint development and promotion of the Kazan Expo exhibition brand.

On May 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov awarded the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan to people's artist of Russia an Tatarstan, Chairman of the Union of Composers of Russia and Tatarstan, composer Rashid Kalimullin “for special contribution to the development of musical art and many years of fruitful creative work”.

On May 6, speaking at the morning meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that participation in the Immortal Regiment patriotic campaign should be voluntary, attraction of administrative resources is unacceptable.

On May 5, during his two-day working visit to Munich, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Prime Minister of Bavaria Horst Seehofer.

On May 5, at his meeting with Director General of Linde AG Aldo Belloni in Munich, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for the meeting and invitation to visit Munich. He noted that Linde AG and petrochemical enterprises “Kazanorgsintez”, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”, and TAIF-NK have been successfully cooperating for two decades.
