Tatspirtprom alcohol production company ranks first by the production of vodka and increased its net profit by 13 per cent

On June 6, a board session of Tatspirtprom alcohol production company was held at the Tatarstan Government House. Results of the company’s financial activity in 2016 were discussed.

According to the report, the company’s net profit made 1 bln 212 mln roubles in 2016 that was by 13 per cent higher than in the previous year. Tatspirtprom plants produced 3,09 mln decalitres of spirit and 12,43 mln decalitres of alcohol products. In 2016, the company was still ranked first by the production of vodka in Russia having shipped 11,6 mln decalitres of vodka. According to the National alcohol association, the company holds 16 per cent of the total volume of shipped vodka in the country.

The company continued to expand in the federal market having increased supplies three times.  It was noted that 5,57 mln decalitres of products were sold in Russian regions, and 83,000 decalitres of products were exported. The company transferred 28, 63 bln roubles of taxes.

Prime Minister of the republic Alexey Pesoshin handed in a diploma “Philanthropist of the year 2016” to Tatspirtprom Director General Irek Minnakhmetov.
