On May 23, at their meeting at Tatarstan Governemnt House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and First Vice-President of Transneft oil pipeline company Maksim Grishanin discussed issues related to further mutually beneficial cooperation.

On May 22, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov took part in the Single advance voting for candidates for deputies of State Duma from United Russia party.

The advance public voting for candidates of “United Russia” political party nominated for elections for the Russian State Duma of the 7th convocation is being held in the country today. More than 560 voting stations opened in the country.

On May 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin and other officials visited the exhibition of the history of Turkic and Tatar writing at the Museum of Bolgar civilization.

On May 21, during “Izge Bolgar Zhyeny” holiday dedicated to the Day of official adoption of Islam in Volga Bulgaria, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov laid a commemorative capsule at Bolgar Islamic Academy.

On May 21, during his working trip to Bolgar, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the construction of Kul Gali hotel.

The construction of the hotel for 151 rooms for 300 guests started in spring of 2015. The hotel will have a SPA salon, gym, swimming-pool, tennis court, park area, basketball and playground areas, jogging track, and underground parking for 220 cars. At the moment the construction is completed by 35 per cent. The facility commissioning is planned for July 2017.

I congratulate you on a fateful memorable date - the Day of official adoption of Islam in Volga Bulgaria. Eleven centuries ago Bulgar civilization was recognized as a part of great Muslim civilization. I am sure that for the last centuries the seeds of faith that were sowed in a fertile ground have come up and yielded rich spiritual fruits.
