On June 20, during his working visit to the Republic of Korea (June 19-20, 2016), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chungcheongbuk-do Province Lee Si-Jong. 

On June 19, during his working visit to Korea, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited I-KAIST company. I-KAIST was founded in 2011 to commercialize scientific studies of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and promote educational solutions.

Lotte Group is a big South Korean conglomerate that was founded in 1967 in Seoul. It unites 60 different companies. In Russia Lotte Group is presented by Lotte Rus since 1997. The company opened trade and business center Lotte Plaza in Moscow in 2007.

On June 19, during his working visit to Seoul, at his meeting with Chairman of Minju democratic party, deputy of National assembly of Korea Kim Min Sok, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan offers South Korean companies the most favourable conditions for doing business.

On June 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on working visit in Seoul (Korea). His itinerary includes the presentation of Lotte Group, visit to Lotte World theme park, Lotte World Tower, Pangyo Techno Valley, I-KAIST and Cheonggyecheon embankment.

On June 18, within the framework of Spartakiada of state and municipal officials, competitions in track and field athletics among government officials were held at Kazan Central stadium. The team of Tatarstan President’s administration won the competitions.

On June 18, at a meeting at Tatarstan Government House, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov offered to hold an examination for government officials, who are responsible for developing small and medium-size business in the republic.

On June 18, at his meeting with new chairman of Tatarstan Union of writers Danil Salikhov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the new chairman needs to unite writers of all nationalities of the republic. “Tatarstan is a multi-ethnic republic, and issues of the preservation of peace and concord are of primary importance,” he said.

On June 17, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Aeroflot Deputy General Director for Finance and Network and Revenue Management Shamil Kurmashev took part in a solemn opening of the first direct flight Kazan-Frankfurt-Kazan. Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin was one of the first passengers.
