On March 23, at the Government House of the republic, First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin chaired a meeting of the commission for the prevention and elimination of emergencies and fire safety, at which they discussed the readiness of the republic to implement measures for the flow of melt water and to take measures to prevent and mitigate the consequences of possible emergency situations related to spring floods.

On March 19, in the Kazan Kremlin, Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin handed in state awards of the Russian Federation and Tatarstan to scientific and cultural workers, workers in the sphere of health, state administration, engineering, oil industry and agriculture. A total of 51 people were handed in high awards.

On March 16, speaking at a briefing at the Government House of the republic, Director of Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund Ainur Aideldinov said that 3,000 people from Russia, Great Britain, the USA and China, as well as over 200 Russian and international investors will take part in the 15th Russian Venture Forum to be held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Centre on April 7-8, 2021.
