The meeting was held within the frameworks of III International Islamic business and Finance Summit “KazanSummit - 2011" (Kazan, KRK “Pyramid”).

The business lunch was arranged during the annual World Economic Forum in Saint-Petersburg.Each federation constituent today must find an own path of development and uncover its potential, all the conditions for this are in place, R. Minnikhanov said. The priorities for Tatarstan are oil recovery, petrochemistry and mechanical engineering. “We set ourselves a task to seriously develop these areas,” Tatarstan’s chief executive said.

Official ceremony of summing up results of republican contest “Doctor of the year – Ak chechekler” was held in Kazan on June 16. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the ceremony which took place in KRK “Piramida”. The contest “Doctor of the year – Ak chechekler” was held in 2011 for the fourth time. It is organized by RT Ministry of health care and RT Association of medical workers.
