“Tatarstan to intensify work with compatriots living outside republic in all areas”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov stated at the II Congress of compatriots - graduates of Russian universities working in Russia and abroad. The event is held on June,30 – July,1 2011 in Kazan (GTRK “Korston”) with participation of more than 600 people. Kazan has become the second city to host the forum.

A solemn ceremony of commissioning 9-storey house for employees of RF Ministry of emergency on RT (Karbyshev st.) took place in Kazan on June, 29. In the ceremony took part Deputy Head of RF Ministry of emergency Aleksandr Chupriyan, RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, Head of Volga regional centre at RF Ministry of emergency lieutenant-general Igor Panshin and Head of Chief Directorate RF Ministry of emergency on RT, major general of internal service Rafis Khabibullin.

Investment project of constructing garbage recycling plant in Tatarstan has been presented to Premier of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov by Juliano Urbani – coordinator of organization committee on holding the Year of Italy in Russia 2011. We remind that delegation of Italian Republic led by Juliano Urbani is on one-day visit to Kazan. On June 28 in the morning members of delegation held a meeting at RT Ministry of construction, architecture and housing where the project of constructing a rubbish recycling plant was presented.

Stakeholders of JSC “Network Company” have decided not to pay dividends by results of work in 2010. Such a decision was made at an annual meeting of company’s stakeholders.Director-general of JSC “Network Company” Damir Safiullin presented a key report about company’s activity in 2010. Particularly, he informed that 2010 brought positive results by all directions. Proceeds made 16,613 bln. roubles. Total cost of company’s services made 10,7 bln. roubles in 2010. Taxes and dues transferred to budgets of all levels made 2,932 bln. roubles. Gain on sales in comparison with the same last year’s period has increased by 134,5 mln. roubles (2 %) and made 6 bln. 54,6 mln. roubles. 1640 technological breaches were investigated last year. By words of Damir Safiullin their rise is connected with abnormal weather conditions. The number of employees - 6807, average salary - 35 000 roubles.

“Energy complex of Volga federal district needs serious modernization and mechanism to provide measures of state support, tax stimulation, federal targeted financing, changes in rules of energy market”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a session of Council at Proxy representative of RF in the VFD in Perm. The session held by Proxy representative of RF in the VFD Grigory Rapota was dedicated to development of energy complex in the VFD.

Rustam Minnikhanov handed republican awards named after Musa Jalil, special state grants of open republican television youth festival of pop art “Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk” and badges of honor “For active work in the sphere of state and youth policy of the Republic of Tatarstan” to representatives of the most active youth associations and creative teams.

President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited rock live festival “The creation of peace” on visiting Kazan. The event is held in Tatarstan capital for the fourth time. One of its organizers is Kazan Mayor’s office. This year more than 200 musicians from 12 countries (Russia, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Portugal and others) took part in the festival “The creation of peace”. Headliners - «Public Image Ltd» revived by John Lidon (unchallenged leader of cult punk group «Sex Pistols») in 2009, John Fogerty, “Neprikasaemye” led by Garik Sukachev, Bi-2 and Andrei Makarevich with Orchestra of Creole tango.
